VSM and Behavioural Science (BS)
We have been working with Behavioural Science techniques (as well as VSM) for the last couple of years. One thought is that BS fits within the VSM model; VSM 'seems' to assume that people will work like cells or other machines. But we know that they don’t BS is structured to understanding understand why people don't do what they are supposed to (mainly due to consequences).
So if you are using VSM to build a company or other organisation you may find that behavioural science helps you to build a environment that encourages people to set suitable consequences and to build an environment that courages people to buld high performing teams.
Anyway just a thought
