Hello all!
Maybe you will agree with me when I say that variety management is cornerstone of the...most of viable systems. So it is very important to correctly indentify variety level and absorb it.
Unfortunately for me there are usually already developed systems where variety is clear from instructions, coding etc. Thus I can suggest that is enough for this ecosystem. But it is not so clear how to analyze variety level when new system is created or environment dramatically changed.
From SCIO website you say about variety equations. What way do you use to indentify needed variety level during your work? What is average level have you faced?
In my work there are about 20 bits if not trying to do everything in optimal way
